This warranty applies under conditions of intended use and is exclusive of equipment subjected to: Failure to follow recommended assembly and service procedures, Lack of proper maintenance, excessive duty cycle, exposure to the elements, shipping damage and modification not authorized by Prestacycle. No warranty claims will be honored without prior authorization for repair from Prestacycle. Any replaced or repaired equipment will be warranted for the remainder of the warranty term only.

Q: What is the TorqRatchet ELITE Lite? 

A: The TorqRatchet ELITE Lite is a portable multi-tool that combines a beam gauge torque-limiting mechanism (2-12Nm range) with a reversible ratchet, making it the perfect tool for precise bicycle assembly and maintenance on-the-go or in the workshop. 

Q: What makes the ELITE Lite different from other TorqRatchet models? 

A: The ELITE Lite is our newest, most refined design featuring optimized weight (227g), extended torque range (2-12Nm), and enhanced portability while maintaining professional-grade accuracy and durability. 

Q: How is the ELITE Lite different from the TorqRatchet GO Lite? 

A: The ELITE Lite offers a wider torque range starting at 2Nm (vs 3Nm on GO Lite), making it suitable for more delicate components. Both are portable beam gauge torque wrenches, but the elite lite has a clearer dial read-out for increased accuracy. It also has a roller wheel to re-calibrate to zero after each use making it accurate for 10,000+ cycles rather than the 5000 of the go lite. 

Q: How accurate is the torque setting? 

A: The TorqRatchet ELITE Lite provides torque accuracy within ±6% ensuring your components are tightened to manufacturer specifications without risk of over-tightening. 

Q: Does the ELITE Lite need calibration? 

A: Yes, but the Elite lite can be easily recalibrated after every single use with the roller wheel. Simply re-set it to 0. 

Q: How do I know when I've reached the set torque? 

A: When the desired torque number is shown on the read-out dial. I.e if you see 5 you have reached 5nm. 

Q: Can I exceed the torque setting if I keep turning? 

A: Yes, you must stop at the desired torque, for a tool this compact there is no click or stop mechanism at the torque you desire, for this we recommend our Pro Torqkeys for a more workshop grade torque tool. 

Q: Can I use the ratchet to loosen bolts?

A: Absolutely! Switch the ratchet to reverse mode and you can loosen bolts just like a standard ratchet. The torque function only works in the tightening direction.
